Bumps, Bruises, and Eating Dirt

Owie, tonight we had soccer and it really kicked my ass. I had a couple of good hustles and bit it a couple of times. I've a got what promises to be a pretty good shiner on my upper left calf. Thank God for shin guards, but still...! I also noticed dirt sticking to my lip gloss. Tasty! And that direct shot to my right breast smarted for a good 20 minutes...yikes! We lost, but we fought valiantly. We were undermanned, but we went down fighting. We later on indulged ourselves in some beer and food in Crystal City. Overall, it's a good day and night. Hope you guys had one as well. Time to hit the shower and stretch...my legs felt like they were cramping toward the end. We've got 2 games next week - Monday and Wednesday. Three games in seven days... way to finish strong, lol. I'm partly praying for rain on Wednesday. Guess we'll have to see...
