Shuffle

One of our attorneys recently quit and the caseload has been reshuffled a bit to pick up the slack. I got a case that just won't seem to end. I organized this file sometime around this time last year! But custody/child support cases are never neat or simple, and often have new issues or old issues resurfacing. And who really pays for all this? The children. I finished that opposition to the summary judgment motion today. Keep your fingers crossed... we might have an opening... I hope my boss can slip through it rather than getting slammed in the doors when we get to argue the motion in front of a judge. Rainy day today... no biking prospects today... wrote my possible biking partner 2 days ago and haven't heard back. sigh. I suppose he didn't want a beginner biker, and that's ok. He could have at least said so.
