On the Run

Today was a pretty full day. Long story short, I got my bike fixed for cheap (it only needed a brake adjustment, $10. Yay!); went to work and we interviewed a couple of people (My boss bought us all Haitian food and that was pretty good); and in the evening my soccer team indulged in its drinking problem down at one teammate's home in Old Town Alexandria. It was nice to meet more of the team members; not everyone was able to come on Thursday. Our next game is next Thursday. It kinda sucks because I'm going to end up missing Survivor and The Apprentice. Well, I can tape them, but I have to choose between CSI and The Apprentice. I need TiVo. Dammit. Fortunately, I think that's it for the Thursday night games; the games then shift to either Tuesday or Wednesday after that, I believe. For tomorrow, I'm working on brunch with yet another CL guy. He's not feeling to well, so we'll see if that happens. But it's funny, he is 27 and made a promise to himself that he'd go out on 27 dates with new people before turning 28. He's about halfway done, and put out a call for more people to date. I thought it was humorous and he seems like a decent guy from the emails we've traded. Intelligent, witty, and an acerbic sense of humor. It's just brunch, and I hope we get to go out. Anyhoo, I'm tired now. Leading an active lifestyle is good, but it does make me sleepy :) Peace.
