Happy New Year!

I managed to scrounge up a date for New Year's Eve, and I had a blast. We hung out at the Russia House for light appetizers and then went to the Improv for a little comedy. This was with a friend of his and someone else that she invited. We later went dancing at Café Citron, since there was no cover after midnight. The night was over way too early! Darn DC... We tried to go to Five, but they were still charging a cover at 3 am. I suppose it makes some sense since they'd be open until 5 am, but still... nah, not worth it. I did look positively smashing, though, in my little black dress. I also threw some color in my hair, some purplish highlights. I'm pretty proud of myself. ;) Wish I had a picture to share, but oh well... :) My date's friend's date (wow, say that 3 times fast) even hit on me a little bit. hehe... Happy New Year. :)
