Words Overflowing

Tonight was interesting. I went downtown after work to play Scrabble with some CL folks that eventually made their own Yahoo group. It was mostly older people, decent folks. It's a tough game, I tell ya! I got crushed. But I don't feel so bad, because you can only do so much when you pull the letters. Sometimes too many vowels, sometimes not enough. And I got stuck with the Q! Never did get a U to make a decent word. My best word of the night: careen. Afterward I watched the presidential debate. I'm very much a middle of the road person when it comes to politics, and I am not moved by either side's propaganda. I felt that President Bush had a stronger, more confident presence but that John Kerry made some really good points. I predict another photo finish. So I'm home now, and don't feel like talking about work, so I'll end this entry right here. Have a wonderful night.
