Narcissism is Bliss

...apparently. Mr. Pissy posted an ad on CL. I knew it was him because he used a bunch of familiar phrases and divulged a bit of his background. I just shot him a one-line email with a tip to improve his response rate. Although, in retrospect, I probably shouldn't have - why subject another woman to his shit? Anyway, he writes back: "Alas, you return. I thought you hated me, and for no reason, too." Wow. Granted, I don't hate him. But I had plenty of reason to cut off communication. All that shows is that he totally does not listen and is extremely self-centered. I am still somewhat amazed at the depth of his narcissism, but I shouldn't be. I did tell him that I don't hate him. He wrote back that he is happy now. I am not going to write back. While I don't hate him, I am not going back to talking with him. Just too much drama waiting there.
