Marvels

I am still marveling at how lost we got this weekend. It has been eating my brain! I think I figured out how we got turned around, but when I consider just how way off the mark we were, it amazes me. We were too far south and west, toeing the line between Fairfax County and Alexandria, instead of staying in Arlington and heading north to pick up the Custis Trail. We ended up riding back from the Fairfax/Alexandria border down to Old Town Alexandria to pick up the Mount Vernon trail to go back north. Whew! Next time, I will have a map, or know the route crossings a lot better.
