Simple Pleasures

Again, another beautiful day. Today it was a quick jaunt up the Capitol Crescent Trail to Bethesda from Georgetown. It's short, but a nice climb up - not too steep in any particular place (except approaching a few bridges), but a good workout. Even coming back downhill I worked myself to push and keep going fast. Well, as fast as you can when you have scads of hikers/other bikers on the trail. Regardless, it was nice and I worked up a good sweat. Church afterward once I got cleaned up, and then a few of us went and got some sushi. I hadn't had sushi in such a long time, it was absolutely refreshing. Thank God for simple pleasures.
