It's Only Love
For Josophist. By Sheryl Crow (as it's sung, not as officially published) I think I met my match again Standing round the candlelight In the middle of this blizzard You stood and melted all the ice Oh, it's only love Oh, it's only love Oh, if only love comes round again It will have been Worth the ride You were master of so many Savior to none I waged all of my hopes so plenty on you Now look what I've become Oh, it's only love Oh, it's only love Oh, if only love comes round again It will have been Worth the ride What a ride Sometimes lonely is not only a word But faces I have known And if you see me could you free me with a smile So I can let go Oh, it's only love Oh, it's only love Oh, if only love comes round again It will have been Comes round again It will have been Worth the ride Worth the ride What a ride

That's purty. I like Sheryl Crow. Now, I'm going to have to go out and purchase her new CD.

Thx!
I know it's what I need to hear.
Not sure I'm ready to listen.
My best friend has written and performed about ten songs based on my experiences over the last year...one titled "Sometimes Love is Not Enough" is quite applicable.
Funny how music dominates during these periods.
This is my current indulgence, by The Thrills:
Not For All The Love In the World
You show your age,
when you drown your rage.
But i see past those laughter lines
so baby, lets split tonight,
I got a tank full of gas to light.
Yeah we can drive for miles and miles
But you just said,
"Not for all the love in the world"
"Not for all the love in the world"
Cause she didnt realize, now that's a lotta love
Pipe dreams fade,
and all the underdogs get laid.
Left your heart in the hands of a jugglin clown.
And so you crave recognition,
but the keys to the city went missing
People aren't puzzles to be figured out
But you just said,
"Not for all the love in the world"
"Not for all the love in the world"
Cause she didnt realize, now thats a lotta love
I guess that everybody,
Went to a better party,
oh no
Not for all the love in the world
Not for all the love in the world
But she didnt realize, now thats a lotta love.

Sethro - I'm behind the power curve, too. Need to get Wildflower, and soon. Need new drivin' music cd.
Josophist - I'm happy to give you a song. Keep hope alive! And that Patty Smyth/Don Henley duo is a good, powerful song. A little more bitter than sweet. Let's get a little more sweet.
As for the Thrills - intriguing. Sounds like it's worth a listen.
