On a More Pleasant Note

I don't feel like talking about work today. I had a lot of time sucked down the non-billable toilet and I'm not going to discuss it. All I have to say about that is today was a LONG day. What I will do is be positive - I went shopping at lunchtime for some new threads. There is a nice little shop that sells suits at some decent prices, and I picked up a pair of pantsuits. They are nice; one is black with white piping. The other is an earthy red houndstooth print jacket with black pants. Both are lined and well-made. I love them. I also got the both of them for a great price, under $130.00 for the pair. I did go shopping this weekend for some suits, as I was in desperate need for some more sharper clothes. I got another couple that I just love. I got this one that is a stylish pink jacket with an off-black sweater and pants. It's a feminine look but it's still subtly aggressive in its styling. It just says 'HA!' I wore it today and it's the friggin' bomb. I was the cat's meow. :) I got another one that is black with red pin stripes. It too is subtly aggressive, and I love it. I might wear that tomorrow. I need to get myself some suit separates and blouses, but in the meanwhile, the full suits are making me happier.
