Sweat

... is good. I got in a good workout today. I tried out the little "Xpress Line" at NYSC, the 8-station weight training circuit. I also took this abs class that was straight up painful. And I did a little cardio on this machine that makes me feel exceptionally challenged in my coordination. But that's okay. I feel good. Of course, I probably ate too much afterward, but I'm working on that. Yes, there are more pleasurable ways to work up a sweat. But this is good, in the meanwhile. ;) Sometimes I don't even have the desire to date, and then there are times when it's all I think about. Bah. I'll take a box of life, 1 each. Stat! Lost f'in rocked this week. It was good to see some of Hurley's backstory. And I think the Kate Jack Sawyer triangle is about to heat up to become a square with Michelle Rodriguez' character. Hot! I love that show.

  • As long as you're circuit training and working your muscle groups for building strength, you can't really eat too much afterward, as long as you aren't loading up on carbs, rather keeping with high protein foods.

Now, as for Lost. Wow...it rocked my nuts tonight. I think I welled up a little when Hurley started handing out the food. So you think the other survivors are on the opposite side of the concrete?

  • Lost so lost me. You all talk about it so much, that I kept it on tonight while I was playing on the computer...maybe that was it... I was playing on the computer.

You have inspired me to run tomorrow. These crazy 2 show days have made me lazy!

    Good work!

  • Haven't followed Lost. Actually have never seen an episode. I might be the only person in existence to admit this. But I hear you on the gym stuff. Slowly returning myself and it takes me two days to recuperate from one workout. Ah, sloth. Its a sin but it feels so much better. And with that, I will start packing my gym bag again.

  • When I first started working out seriously years ago, I couldn't keep my balance on the eliptical machines without holding on to the handles. It took a few days of practice before I could tun on them.

Ditto. It takes such effort sometimes!

    Much like working out... :)
