Elektra

I love to see Jennifer Garner kick ass. Really. For women, nobody does it better. But this movie... a little disappointing. There is no real explanation as to how she becomes an assassin. So it's dark without real context. We learn bits and pieces about Elektra and her mother's death, but there is just too much cliché. It's too bad a sequel probably won't be in the works, because a sequel could actually work now that she's got a little more backstory. Sigh. Oh well, at least she looked fabulous while kicking ass.
