SNAFU

So, today we get a fax from one of the other parties saying that they are having having a hard time producing their witness and want to reschedule tomorrow's deposition. Long story short is that I don't know if I'm supposed to be going tomorrow or not. I got no confirmation from any of the other attorneys, and I'm looking at a 2 hour ride. Shit. I'm going to call first thing in the morning to find out whether or not I am getting out of dodge and driving 100+ miles to this deposition, or if I'm just heading into the office later. Fuckers. Anyway, thanks for the comments and suggestions about New Year's. I have no desire to make the trip back down to DC because it'll be one weekend right after yet another long road trip, and I'm not mentally inclined to do that kind of haul 2x in a row. But I won't rule it out... :) We'll see what happens. I'm not sure I want to buy a new dress, but that'll have to see too. If I go to DC, I probably will. What style, I don't know. That, or maybe a new shrug to go with the cute little number from last year. Stay tuned. P.S. I'm not normally a stiletto woman, but these are hott.
