That's me. After yesterday, that is. So I snuck out of town and into Washington for the day yesterday. I hit up a party and went dancing downtown. Dancing was extremely theraputic. But why is it that the only guys with balls are short and not that good-looking? Duds, so many duds!! Bah, doesn't matter - I had more fun dancing with my friends or by myself, anyway. It was so wonderful to see the friends that I got to see in this trip - not enough time to do the rounds and people were scattered. One of my friends exclaimed "I miss you!" and I exclaimed right back "I miss me, too!" And I do. What the hell has happened to me? All I do is work work work work... I know what it is. I'm just trying to do a good job and impress the people that keep me in candy (so to speak). Not in an ass-kissing sort of way; I just have a truly ornery billing requirement and without a caseload, meeting the requirement is pretty tough. It's not like I'm some overachiever there, trying to bill 12 a day. Anyway, the weekend was good, though I have to do a lot of work on losing the road rage. It is one of the biggest challenges to my faith. It's just that life is too short to drive slow, and the ISFP (Incredibly Stupid Fucking People) phenomenon just gets way under my skin. Sorry, I'm not content to do the speed limit in the left lane. Move. The. Fuck. Over. Nimrod! Whew. Exhale, girl, exhale... Anyway, I am at least back home early enough to unwind and achieve a few things before plunging back into the rat race tomorrow. Ciao.
