Radio Silence

I had nothing to talk about, really, so I was quiet this weekend. I was busy trying to recover from my bouts with ADHD. One of my co-workers did have a little after-work party on Friday at this bar called Social near Times Square. It was nice. It was her birthday the day before, and I hadn't had a drink in... oh okay, so I had 2 mojitos the week before, but I think you know what I mean! I finally got a Yuengling (or 4), and MAN that stuff tasted so good... mind you, I'm not a big beer drinker, but this stuff is nice. Chimay (a Belgian beer) is also pretty tasty too. It's drinks like these that make you understand how people get so hooked on beer. Not that bitter shit like Sam Adams... gack! I went to work on Saturday. I had a mountain of stuff piling up on my desk and it just needed filing away and cleaning. Some of it was billable stuff that I didn't review. Booyaa! I at least got a little bit of billable time to squeak into some of the crevices of my week. I had another appearance today in Brooklyn. What a GD circus. I got there and plaintiff's counsel didn't show up for 2 f'in hours, after the first call of the calendar. What the f ever. But you can get away with that in Brooklyn. I swear, I am not going to stress myself out about getting down there on time ever again. Ever. Again. I'm working on getting some time off. Last minute changes to Christmas plans... ugh. And the transit system might strike tomorrow. Not all of it - my rail line is not going to be affected so I will have no excuse. I take Metro North down to Grand Central and walk. If they strike, I'll be doing the same thing. I don't have any appearances, so I'm safe. But God help those people who aren't so fortunate. I'm working on a motion for the big man. It's already about 11 pages. I expect it'll be about 12-13 by the time I'm done with it tomorrow. We should hopefully have it out and served by Thursday. So far I like it, but we'll see. Time to try and call the match.com dude so we can have another conversation. Later.
