... that the income tax rate for the District of Columbia is higher than that of New York? While the cost of certain things are more expensive in New York, I will take home more of my hard-earned cash! Imagine that! These bitches here in DC tax anyone making 30 grand or more at 9% of their income. In New York, the highest tax rate is 7.7%. But there is also no personal exemption there, whereas there is one in DC. That might end up being a wash, but... eh.
