Compassion

I am blessed to have crossed Darrell's blog, which he just started. It is powerful stuff, dealing with a loved one who suffered a brain injury while playing football. My heart breaks and a piece of me cries inside to read it. There will be more, other stuff, I'm sure - more about his life. But right now, I'm riveted to my screen because it hits home a little too hard. Even though the injury is not exactly the same, the feelings are - fear, anxiety, desperation, hope, love, pain, anger, outrage, anticipation, and sometimes relief. Required reading.
