I Knew I Should Have Set My VCR

... because I missed the performance night for Rock Star: INXS!! AAAAargh! This is what I get for going out and having a life. :p At least I had fun in real life. It was nice to meet the guy from eHarmony - we had a good time, and it was nice talking to him. I just didn't feel the instant 'click.' But then, love is a choice, isn't it? We'll see. I missed it, but the folks at Fans of Reality TV have been giving the lowdown. From what I read, Jordis put out a stinker. I also read that my favorite, Marty Casey, wasn't perfect but he rocked, as usual. He needs to branch out, however, and do different types of songs - less screaming. I want to see Marty do something that smolders, with no screaming, and takes a lot of control - something like With or Without You by U2 or Under the Bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. If he screams the end, he's toast - it's not a screaming song. Plus, Michael Hutchence was just dead sexy and could bathe you with the sensuality in his voice. I'd like to know that Marty can do it. I think he can - and I'd melt if he could. I, for one, like Marty's intensity - I respond to power and intensity, so by and large it doesn't bother me. Sometimes it does kind of cross the line into being scary, but I understand his approach. That's just his fire. He just needs to think back and show INXS that he really is capable of handling diverse kinds of music, as their music IS diverse. That said, it's time for me to watch the videos over at http://rockstar.msn.com and form my own opinion.
