Digging Out
So we got some crazy-ass amount of snow yesterday that lasted overnight. Up north where I live, it's not as bad. Usually, we get it worse, but this time the city took the brunt of it all with a record 26.9" of snow. Yikes! We expected to get at least 10". We got maybe 16" or more. Here are some photos of our deck, to illustrate just how deep the snow was: I should take a ruler and measure it, but I don't feel like going back outside. It's just frickin' deep, and over a foot, maybe close to 2. If you got less or no snow, God bless ya.

That last picture is crazy! It looks like a delicious pastry :-)
Enjoy it . . . our snowfall fell far short of expectations.

It keeps reminding me of a sponge. I would have enjoyed it more if it fell TONIGHT instead of last night, giving me a reason to not go to work! :)

Lucky you!! we got about 12 inches down here... They've already closed some of the schools for Monday - and I have no idea why. The roads are totally clear!

We got about a centimeter. Takes about a half-inch to shut down the city.
